I just had a great visit in Idaho. I spent the weekend at Tyson & Courtnie's. I made this John Deere Apron for Tyson for Christmas. So Kaden called me and said "Grandma, where is my John Deere Apron?" I told him I would bring him one when I came to visit, of course I had to make one for Emma too. Kaden was so excited because I put a grain combine and a tractor on his. The three aprons
Here are my cute Idaho Grandkids, Kaden and Emma
Tyson treated us to Cocoa Bean cupcakes.
My baby, Chelsi, turned 20! We had a family party for her.
My nephew, Austin Egbert, came home from his mission. It was great to see him again. This is a fun picture of Tyson and Austin.
This is my twin sister Kathryn. ( If you can't tell I'm on the left )
I was so excited to be in the snow. Crazy that I miss it. I was so happy when it snowed while I was there. I forgot how tall the snow piles get in the parking lots there.
I just love the icicles hanging off Millie's house. A couple of them almost touch the ground.
I went to the Rexburg Temple. I love going to this Temple because I get to see alot of people that I know. I was among friends.
The rest of my trip I spent reconnecting with my friends. I went to lunch with them and we caught up on each others lives. I even went to a couple of movies too. I had a great week in Idaho with my family and friends. It was nice to stay part of the week at Tyson and Courtnie's house and part of the week at Millie's house.

I have some great news! Yesterday Clinton and I had an interview with a member of the Mesa Arizona Temple Presidency. We are in! We get to be Temple Workers! We are so excited! We start February 4 at 6:10am. This is the hard part, because I am not an early morning person. As I have thought about this, it is the best time. No conflicts at this time of day. It will be a sacrifice for me, but will be well worth it! I have actually been looking for a service club to join. I told Clinton that this might be what I have been looking for. They said we will work 48 of the 52 Fridays a year. So if you are ever contemplating going to the Mesa Arizona Temple, make sure you go early and Clinton and I will gladly help you.

One fun thing Clinton and I do is give our grandkids a weekend with us for their birthdays! This is turning into a great tradition. Cheyanna's birthday was December 11th. So this last weekend Cheyanna came to spend the weekend with us. I told her to think of the things she wanted to do. This is how we spent our time:making chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast
Going to see the movie "Tangled"
Playing miniature golf
Playing Old Maid, Go Fish, Crazy 8's and my personal favorite, Pass The Pigs! We had a very fun weekend with Cheyanna!

Great start for the New Year
This is such a new adventure for me by starting this blog. I am so excited to be documenting my life in this way. I feel that this will also help me to count my blessings more instead of taking things for granted. On January 1, 2011 Clinton and I decided to find some snow. We went up north to the Stoneman Lake area and this is what we found:
a hill for sledding,
hot chocolate on the tailgate of Clinton's pickup,
snow angels.
I love spending time with Clinton!
