Grandma - Daughter Date December 26, 2014

On Christmas Eve, just after Tyson and Courtnie got here, Emma took my hand and asked me to come with her.  We went upstairs by ourselves and she asked me if I could take her on a "Grandma - Daughter Date" to get ice cream.  That really melted my heart.  She wanted to go right then.  I told her we would have to go the day after Christmas.

So here we are at Millhollow getting some ice cream.  I love spending time with my grandkids.  Especially one-on-one.  It is fun to talk to them and hear what they have to say.  Emma is 5 now, and in kindergarten.  She is smart as a whip.  She also says the funniest things.  I told Tyson, they should keep a notebook of all her "Emmaisms".

Christmas Day 2014

We had a fun Christmas Day!

It started with "happy" Chelsi.  We just got word that the grandkids are up and we are going over to Brock's house to watch them open their presents.

This has been our tradition for years!  Cinnamon rolls cooking while we are opening presents.

Grandpa, Grandma and Chelsi sporting our new Christmas PJ's.  Chelsi is holding Kash.

Brock, Carrie, Braden and Payton.

Tyson, Courtnie, Kimmi, Kaden, Kash and Emma.

Yesterday we had no snow.  It started snowing last night, about the time Tyson and Courtnie got here, and snowed all night!  We got dumped on!  It just isn 't Christmas without snow!

Christmas Eve Surprise! December 24, 2014

Our plans for this Christmas Eve were to got over to Brock and Carrie's for dinner and presents.  When we got there, I noticed an extra table set up.  Brock said there was a family in their ward that didn't have anywhere to go, so they invited them here.  I thought "OK".  When the doorbell rang, he said that it was the family.  I went to answer the door.  I was very surprised to see my Washington grandkids and their parents standing there. (They originally were not coming until Saturday.) I almost started crying!  This was a great Christmas present to have 3 of our 4 kids and their families here!  We also "Face timed" our Arizona Grandkids.  We even got to talk to Cole and Alicia.  We had a great Christmas Eve!

Grandpa & Chelsi and the grandkids! (Chelsi, Kaden, Kimmi, Grandpa, Payton, Kash & Emma)  Where's Braden?

Agritech Christmas Party. December 24, 2014

This is just some of the yummy food at the Agritech Christmas Party.  It is a pot luck.  I love pot luck parties.  I love to try out all the food, especially the food that I am not familiar with.

Agritech is a great place to work.  The environment is just really nice.  All the employees are such nice people.  Clinton has worked hard to create a wonderful culture there.  This is a great way to kick off Christmas!.
