This is our little Emma. We just spent about 2 1/2 weeks of being really worried about her. On June 20th she got sick. They took her to the hospital in Rexburg because she had a fever over 104. By Sunday, June 30th, they transferred her to ICU at EIRMC. That is where they diagnosed her with Bacterial Meningitis. She was scary sick for a week. Only adults could see her. Kaden and Kimmi really missed her and wanted to see her.
On July 27th, she was doing well enough to be moved to the Pediatric Wing. We took Kaden and Kimmi down to see her.
They were so happy to see her and play together. She still had to stay in the hospital though. This is the second grandchild we have had go through such a scary situation. We can see the Lord's hand in this. There have been so many blessings that have come through this trial. Not only is it hard to watch Emma struggle, but to watch Tyson and Courtnie struggle through this too and not be able to do much. This trial has strengthened all of our testimonies. I am grateful for the priesthood and the blessings given by worthy priesthood holders. We feel blessed through this trial.

Bear Lake Bike Ride June 21 & 22, 2013
This weekend we went to Bear Lake because Clinton and his brother, Jamie are doing a bike ride. Clinton rode 75 miles and Jamie rode 100 miles. They said that Darla and I didn't have to give them support along the way, so we found other things to do.
We visited antique shops and found this little store that used to be a jail. So we got in one of the cells for this photo.
Since Bear Lake is so famous for their raspberries, we had to stop for this delicious raspberry milkshake.
Clinton just finished his ride. He is awesome! I couldn't do what he does.
